Three Ways You Can Help

Working with kids, teaching, mentoring, coaching, & caring:

Our staff is dedicated to working with our volunteers to make sure that our children get the individualized attention that they need.  Consider working as a homework helper, tutor, coach, games supervisor, party organizer or mentor.  Please plan to make a minimum 4 month commitment.

For more information call Charles Burton at 217-355-5437.

Fundraising events: Help us to raise money or get involved with an event.

The Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club currently runs different events to raise money for the organization.  This allows us to charge a $20.00 membership fee while still running a great selection of programs.  We need people to work on event planning, event sponsorship, public relations, event operations, and a variety of other tasks.  It's fun and it supports a great cause.

For information, call Michael Byrd at 217-355-5437.

Facilities improvement: Lend us a hand to keep our facility in great condition.

We strive to keep our building in great shape, so that our children can be proud to be a part of our facility.  Help with building clean-ups, landscaping and upgrading is needed.  Special skills like carpentry and plumbing are also needed.
